Audubon Park in New Orleans is home to one of the largest populations of migratory birds in the United States.

Huey Long is a hummingbird that is about to embark on his very first migration south for the winter. As he prepares for the journey ahead, he hears Luis Armstrong's classic "Do you Know what it means to miss New Orleans?" and realizes he DOES NOT know what that means! Will it hurt? Will he be able to find new friends wherever he goes? Will his new home be SO different?

He is filled with questions and nerves, so he travels around to all his favorite New Orleans spots to ask his friends if they know "what it means" to try and find an answer!
